Raval, Raval...

Barcelona’s Raval quarter is the backdrop against which all contemporary city conflicts take place.  Raval, Raval… is also the title of this film: a direct and choral film, a look through the author’s eyes, a fictional story shot as a documentary about everyday life in the Raval quarter.  The basis of the story is its inhabitants’ smaller stories.  These fragments of reality make up the story of Raval, Raval…:  an original and unprejudiced look at everyday life in the heart of Barcelona.
